I actually did pretty well before going to London.
My pressed powder... the only actual "pan" I used up!
Sea Breeze deodorant
(for some reason, I had 4 bottles of deodorant...)
Moisturizer
(one of the many things I have too many of)
Makeup protector spray
(I haven't seen this in drugstores anymore. Maybe it was discontinued?)

(again, I have too many powders)
The rules are the same:
Items included in my no-buy/Project 10 pan
- Eyeshadows/blushes/lipsticks/lipglosses
- Foundations/bb creams/concealers/finishing powders
- Shampoo/hair mask/shower gels/body lotions
- Facial masks
- Anything that I have more than 1 of
- Contact lens related items (because I'm like, um, blind without my contacts)
- 化粧水 - basically non-alcoholic toner (this is so Japanese of me)
- Sunscreen (because no one wants skin cancer)
- Razors (because no one wants to be hairy either!!!)
- Mascara/Mascara primer /Eyeliner (I religiously throw these away after 2 months, so I know I will use it up anyway)

wow, u throw away ur mascara after 2 months!! i kinda keep mine until they dry out... I know, its so bad of me :( I usually use up all my staple skin care products before I buy new ones, so tats one thing I can be proud of.. but makeup is a different story. I'm currently on the no buy too, so I wish u luck sWeetie

ReplyDeleteGood luck with your no buy!! I haven't stopped my no buy, but I've given myself a spending limit each month. AND I can only buy things I need or are new..no repeats or things I have a ton of! Yesterday I bought a new foundation & mascara because I ran out. Today I might buy the new exfoliator from MAC because I'm almost done with my current one.
A good way I avoided buying things & not feeling deprived was to try to find dupes for what I wanted in my own collection.
