Weight Loss: Meals

I'm really stuck in a rut when it comes to weight loss.

I've been trying really hard - eating more fruits and veggies, eating less junk food, running more...  and yet I can't seem to really lose weight.

I've been focusing on better eating habits lately. I eat breakfast at 6, leave for work at 6:30, have lunch at 12, and usually leave work between 6:30 and 7 PM. There is no way that I can continue to work at 100% productivity if I haven't eaten for 12 hours.

To avoid eating some kind of junk food, I'm going to try bringing in some food to work to snack on.  It has to be something that I have to spend time eating, such as fruit.  I'm going to try bringing in some fruit which I will have to peel, so that I can enjoy eating it.

Wish me luck!

This week's weigh in: 68.2kg

  1. Good luck!  Congrats on the healthier habits; I'm sure your body is a bit happier with all the good changes.

I've been trying to eat more veggies and run a bit.  I even cooked a little.

  2. I feel your pain, I bring in apple slices and bananas to work since I eat breakfast at 5:30am and by like 10am I need a snack.  When I used to have more time to snack I would bring in grapefruit, it takes a long time to eat since you need to peal it.

  7. A lot of people at work bring fruit to work to snack on, so I think I can keep doing it!

  9. Dried fruits and nuts don't work well for me, because I can eat them quickly and so I don't feel satisfied!

  10. I've started snacking on apple slices and peanut butter, or cutting up veggies (carrots, bell pepper, cucumber) with hummus in between meals to keep my energy up - the hummus and peanut butter add some protein to keep me full. oranges are a great snack as well!
